Topic: Tactical/Euro Dry Flies
While euro style fly fishing is generally thought of as a nymphing game there are techniques that
can be utilized to fish other parts of the water column. One of these skills is fishing a dry fly in on
the surface film. This type of fishing with a euro set up is generally very effective as you are
fishing a light to moderate fly with a long tactical style leader.
In this class we will cover tools, materials and skills to make you an effective euro style dry fly
tier. We will also cover a variety of concepts for making simple, but effective patterns, as well as
provide a brief discussion of some rigging suggestions.
