Arbor Anglers is a full-service fly fishing shop and outfitter based in Lafayette, Colorado, serving the Front Range, Boulder, Denver, and surrounding Colorado waters. We offer quality fly fishing gear, local expertise, classes, guided fly fishing trips, private water access, corporate outings, hosted destination trips, and custom outdoor experiences.
Founded by James Parker and now led alongside his wife, Lisa, Arbor Anglers was built around people, education, community, and exceptional customer service. The shop provides trusted gear, flies, apparel, local knowledge, and personal guidance for anglers of all skill levels.
Through Arbor Anglers Outfitters, we create professional and inclusive guided experiences, including walk-and-wade trips, private water fly fishing, corporate fly fishing outings, team-building events, hosted trips, and destination travel.

There a LOT of fly shops on the Front Range to choose from. Arbor Anglers embodies everything I want in a fly shop. Classes, fly tying clinics, lots of fly tying materials, wide range of price points for gear (not just super expensive). Most important to me, as I can be a bit of a shop rat, everyone there is happy to talk fishing. Patterns, flows, rods, where to go, everything about fishing (or Life). Love this shop and the people there.

I went to several shops in the area and while they all have there merit, I had a great expert with James at Arbor. He really helped me dial in what rod I liked and I never felt pressured. He also gave me some casting pointers which have really helped. Whether you are in South Denver or Boulder I highly recommend stopping in.

Excellent shop that is stocked with high quality gear and owned & operated by a guy who truly cares about you as a customer! They offer an excellent selection of kit; everything from flies, streamside materials, tying materials, rods, reels, waders, boots, apparel, packs, sunglasses and more. They have an up-to-date fishing report for the local water and an excellent knowledge-base. This is not your typical flyguy in a box who is stuck-up and snobby – this place is a true neighborhood gem with a friendly owner who clearly takes pride in his work and his customers.

Absolutely fantastic fly fishing shop! The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—I felt like I had known them forever from the moment I walked in. Their passion for fishing really shines through, and they go above and beyond to help with gear, local tips, and anything else you need. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stopped in to the fly shop and it was everything we could have hoped for. Well stocked in gear and flies, and staff so friendly you almost at first thought everyone in the store was just customers hanging out. We had a great time talking and got some great items to boot. We will be booking a trip with them first chance we get.
