Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 240 Yards is part of the Semperfli 6/0 150 denier range of Classic Waxed Threads (CWT) which have been designed specifically for fly tying for large Salmon, Predator, Streamer flies and for deer hair spinning with its great strength and usually used on hook sizes 8 or larger. Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 240 Yards threads are unique; laying flat with a two core construction but can easily be split to create dubbing loops and they are strong threads. We worked with our Pro Team to get the correct amount of wax on each thread to hold materials but not clog your bobbin holder with Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 240 Yards. Having developed and manufactured our own computerised spooling machinery Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 240 Yards is put onto the spool with touching turns in totally level traverse, why is this important? With Classic Waxed Thread 6/0 240 Yards you will not get a birds nest when tying flies!

Classic Waxed Thread 12/0 240 Yards usually used on hook sizes 10 to 20. Many tyers are moving to our 12/0 thread in preference to traditional 8/0 because it is still strong with a breaking strain of 489gm (17.25oz) but presents a thinner profile thread. Classic Waxed Thread 12/0 240 Yards threads are unique; laying flat with a two core construction but can easily be split to create dubbing loops and they are strong threads. Nano Silk Pro 20D

Nano Silk is the best GSP thread on the market, period! Super strong, this is the highest quality thread available. Never worry about snapping your tying thread again, you can rely on Nano Silk.

Nano Silk Pro 20D is considered the professional level being the finest of the range. 20d is also known as 24/0, that is really very small indeed! That said this baby of the Nano Silk family has all the strength you would expect from this premier thread. It is 10 times stronger than steel of the same diameter! Nano Silk Pro 20D is fine enough for size 20 to 32 flies whilst still retaining its strength. Available in black and white, with 100 metres on each spool, if you dare, you can split this oh so fine thread further if required so dubbing on size 32 flies with split threads is a reality.!

Nano Silk Pro 20D is designed for micro flies down to size 32, however do not be fooled, Nano Silk Pro 20D is as strong as 8/0 polyester thread yet is less than 1/20th of the diameter. As a result it can be used for any fly where you do not want to see your thread.

You can tell you are using Nano Silk Pro 20D as its on white spools to differentiate it from the other Nano Silks. Please remember to use a ceramic bobbin holder

Because Nano Silk lays perfectly flat you get no thread build up. Indeed check out our Youtube video where we put 100 wraps on a hook and still had no head buildup!

Pro Tips:
1 – rotate anti-clockwise to untwist and lay perfectly flat. With just 2 or 3 light wraps of Nano Silk over foam you can then tighten and tie in foams or materials that would cut easily.
2, use white Nano Silk and simply color the last 4 inches (100mm) of thread for heads in a visible color

Nano Silk Streamer 200D

Semperfli is famous for its Nano Silk, with 100m for black and white per spool with its strongest per denier, ultra strong fibres and we give more GSP than any other volume manufacturer on a spool. However we wanted to develop a version of Nano Silk with deeper, dope dyed GSP. We had to introduce the colored plastic into the raw GSP as it was being dyed and extruded, the result is Nano Silk Streamer 200D, a NEW version of Nano Silk with a deep color that will never lighten, or color run. Our new color dope dyed GSP formula is unique in the industry.

Nano Silk Streamer is perfect for streamer and predator patterns with its flat profile ideal for chironomids, traditional flies and ribbing. Finer than many polyester 6/0 threads it is extremely strong, much stronger than polyester or rayon threads. Nano Silk Streamer 200D is thread that will not break easily giving confidence for the fly tyer but can be flattened completely.
